Countdown for the Oscar Awards

Oscar Academy Awards will be on Sunday already and the countdown has began. The main boulevard is already closed to provide room for the celebritites grand red-carpet entrance.

An Oscar statue stands on the red carpet outside the Kodak Theatre in preparation for the 82nd Academy Awards in Los Angeled, California on Froday March 5, 2010 . The Academy will be held on Sunday.

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner of Twilight are among of the paricipants in the Oscar Awards. Avatar star Sam Worthinton will take the stage as well. This will be an exciting event since this will be a tough competition for all actors, actresses , directors and producers. The participants for Oscar Awards are rehearsing so much so that they can show their best performance and fashion statement .

The ten best nominees are the following: Education , Avatar, The Blind Side, Disctrict 9, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Precious, Serious Man , Up, Up in the air.

Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper joining forces for the new M.A.C. Viva Glam Spring 2010 campaign, which has raised more than $130 million for the M.A.C. AIDS FUND since 1994, as captured in V Magazine Issue #64.

Gaga says: “It’s quite awkward to be talking about my passion about the AIDS crisis and the gay community while doing my makeup but…Viva Glam!”
